Ever since I was a little girl I have loved all things beautiful. Clothes, shoes, homes, and nature captured my heart at an early age. One of my earliest memories is of a pale blue Easter dress with an overlay of white polka dot organza. It had little jingle bells in the hem! At age five, I wore it with white lace tights and black patent leather shoes, a white patent leather purse, white gloves and a pale blue ribbon in my hair! I absolutely refused to wear pants -- and sneakers were out of the question! I loved to stay up late and help my aunt bake cakes. Gardening and sewing with my grandmother was my idea of fun. I spent hours drawing, coloring, making doll clothes and rearranging the furniture in my doll house. It should come as no surprise when I tell you I have designed clothes, jewelry, and hats, painted murals and designed and painted furniture. My interior design projects have been featured in magazines and newspapers. I have hosted so many weddings, tea parties, birthday parties, family dinners and barbecues that I have lost count! And I have cooked just as many meals, cakes, and cookies! I’ve planned gardens and planted trees, fruit, vegetables, herbs, roses, flowers and bulbs. I have shopped thrift stores and antique shops, dollar stores and department stores, flea markets and estate sales. I always enjoy the thrill of finding and creating something beautiful!
